Fancy that cake did an amazing job on my wedding cake and grooms cake. It was a huge hit with everyone!! Very happy with both cakes!! Lets just say it was such a huge hit that there was hardly anything left from either cake.

Katie…. You completely out done yourself!! Words could never fully express my gratitude… For once I’m lost for words. The venue and planners said “that was the best cake they have EVER seen”. The taste was unbelievable. We only had 3 slices left!! Whatever you do, keep doing it!! How you get a beautiful cake and have it taste so well, is crazy!! The cake was Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t be happier! It was the second most talked about subject at the party (first was my baby ). You should have left more cards at the table, everyone wanted your info. We loved the design….still up to 3 am everyone was talking about the cake at home. It tasted great. Thank you so much for the beautiful cakes and helping me make this event memorable. Will definitely do business again.

I contacted Katie on what I considered to be short notice to make a Masonic lodge installation cake. I showed her pics of what I wanted it to look like. The day of installation I went to pick it up. I couldn’t believe what was on her counter. My cake. Exactly the layout I wanted but it looked a hundred times better than the original pics I showed her. At the installation nobody knew it was actually a cake and was amazed at the detail. I’m definitely using Katie for any occasion in the future.

Our little guy’s first birthday cake was absolutely incredible. It truly was a piece of art! I could not have imagined having such an amazing cake for our special boy. Katie put so much detail into his birthday cake that it was one of a kind. From start to finish, she was so excited about making a cake for our birthday boy. She was always quick to respond, knew exactly what we wanted and MORE! Her and her husband are both incredibly nice and went above and beyond for our son’s birthday. The cake tasted just as incredible as it looked and our guests couldn’t believe their eyes when they walked in and saw the cake on the table. I can honestly say, that I am already thinking about next years birthday and what type of cake she will be able to come up with for Wes’ second birthday party. Not only was the cake for my daughters 1st birthday beyond beautiful and fit for the little princess, everyone loved the delicious flavors we had chosen as well! This was my second time using Fancy that Cake for both my girls 1st birthdays, I wouldn’t use anyone else… Not only for the amazing artistic work done to the cakes, but because of the wonderful fun experience I had in the process of planning with Katie, down to matching the cake to my daughters dress! Fancy That Cake did an awesome job for our daughters wedding reception this past June 2013! We were 100% pleased with everything! Katie, The cake was beautiful!!! Kaitlin and Garrett loved it. Kaitlin and I both think that Grandma Glenna would have approved. We ended up with about 10 people serving it. We took it apart and took it to the back and cut it. We put labels on each tray indicating what kind it was and people loved it. Of course I will get pictures for you. If you ever want to use me for a reference, please do. I am somewhat picky and apparently so are you because I thought it was beautiful. Thank you so much for giving her a cake like my mom would have.

Hi Katie, I want to thank you for doing such a tremendous job on both cakes. I was blown away at the attention to detail and the fact that both were the most delicious cakes I’ve ever eaten (and I’m a cake girl) was the icing on top. Even the Rice Krispy grill items were out of this world. You were so accommodating through the whole thing and I appreciate the prompt modifications you made. I see great things in your future. Our cake was amazing!! Everyone just raved about it!! It tasted so good, well except for the part that went up my nose ;).
I wanted to let you know that the cakes were perfect. The cookie cake was the highlight of our day especially. Brandon loved it. Was 100% surprised about it being her. It was so realistic our guests thought it was a statue. I didn’t cry the entire day till later in the evening when we kinda got a moment alone to look at her. It was perfect! Thank you so much for helping make my day absolutely perfect.
I wanted to thank you again for doing such an amazing job on our wedding cake! Every last piece (except the top tier which was saved) was devoured! People are still raving about it!

Your cake was a hit! You may have seen it as one of the prominent pictures from the event in the SEMissourian. We displayed it out where the event was and it was an eye-catching centerpiece to our evening. Your stack of business cards were gone in 10 minutes. People were on their hands and knees looking up under the portico and up close at the authors written on the side. The more we looked, the more impressive your attention to detail became. And to top it all off, it tasted great. We cut 1″ square columns and went through maybe 2/3 of the cake that night. Rest was cut and boxed and put in the fridge in breakroom. It was all gone this morning! Thanks again for squeezing us in and making this very cool cake which became a focal point of our evening celebration. (Dec. 2014)
